Great place to bring your kids for a fun afternoon. Always changing things up and the staff does a very good job at providing an engaging and informative experience.
Were used to the Calgary Science centre. Not quite the same. But we still had fun. And the membership pass is very cheap compared to Calgary/Vancouver. And it can be used at those locations.
Such a small place with so much history great staff and much to do with the kids polson pack is right behind it if you want to run around the track or throw some horseshoes..
I feel like we missed what was great about this place? The dinosaur exhibit was interesting but our four year old was terrified of the animatronics so we decided to go upstairs and tour the rest. It was dirty, most of the exhibits didn't work or were old and outdated. Definitely wasn't worth the money. There just wasn't much to do for how much it cost.
While not as grand as say Vancouver's Science world Okanagan Science Center has a lot of great things going for it. The gyro chair and the space exhibit were popular with my older kiddos and the main floor play area was heavenly for my toddler. We spent 2 hours there and didn't take in everything there was to see. Well done Vernon!
