It's the best BBQ joint we've ever been to and if you like meat, you have to put this place on your bucket list. If I didn't know any better, I'd say we made new friends with the owners! The food and the hospitality was first class and we can't wait to get back to Vernon so we can go again.
SO YUMMY. Leave lots of room before you come here. It's so filling and delicious. And save room for dessert. The Mississippi mud pie is serisouly the best. I cant wait to go back! I had the pulled pork. So tasty.

I came here with high hopes but walked out disappointed. We sat and got our drinks no issue, then got ignored for ever while the waitress catered to a table that looked like they had money...... Finally got to order and got our meal. The appies were great! The sides were all amazing but the brisket tasted like reheated roast beef. Very dry! This was the most disappointing part for me, can deal with being ignored but really got my hopes up for some melt in your mouth brisket fat! That being said the meat had good smoke flavor and I'm sure would be amazing if it was fresh. Other than being ignored staff was all very friendly.
Well, holy cow! Had the "Moo, Oink, Cluck", which gives you beef brisket, pork sausage, and pulled chicken, along with some maple bacon cornbread and 2 sides (in my case, roasted potato salad and onion rings. First of all, the meat is top-notch! But the secret sauce to this place is definitely....the sauces! Four signature sauces you would expect to find at a rib competition, and they were all great...my favorite combo was the Beef Brisket with Wayne County sauce, but they're ALL great. The wait staff are friendly and energetic, reminiscent of "southern hospitality", and the owner even came out to answer any questions we may have about the menu. As if that wasn't enough, the pecan pie must have been the result of a deal with the devil, because I ordered a whole pie (not cheap) after the first bite. You. Will. Love. This. Place.
