Nice place, looks amazing and the pricing is good. But the staff are very rude. I've watched them be disrespectful other customers on several occasions and assumed the customers had done something to provoke it. On my last visit they decided to be rude to myself and my father in law, for no apparent reason.I've had some very good experiences with some of the staff members, but the recent run-in was bad enough that I won't be returning. There are other places that offer equal or better selections, and that won't treat me and my family poorly.
Initially, my first visit to this store was going well. One staff member welcomed me and told me to take my time looking around.The store appears to have a very good selection of beer, wine and spirits. However, when I checked the price of a particular single malt against the BC Government liquor store prices, I found that Monashees had it listed at $7.00 more for a 750 ml bottle. I suspect that is illustrative of all their pricing.When I went to pay for my purchase, the cashier was anything but friendly. She acted a bit like I was an inconvenience for her. As I turned to leave, I was evidently headed for the entry door and not the exit. She yelled at me and mumbled under her breath that she was sick of yelling at people. I won't be back to this store.
I absolutely love this place. It's brand new and updated and it's the only place in Vernon I buy my drinks. The staff has always been welcoming and they by far have the biggest selection of beer in wine and Vernon. Would highly recommend coming here. Good prices too
Best liquor store I've ever been to. The selection is immense!!!!! Love the vintage room. Only place I'd buy booze in Vernon.
